An online forum dedicated to expounding the spiritual traditions of ancient and contemporary Taino people of the Caribbean as understood by the CANEY INDIGENOUS SPIRITUAL CIRCLE. Membership in this group does not make you a member in our Caney Circle. You need to enroll in the official membership community MECGC CANEY INDIGENOUS SPIRITUAL CIRCLE to be a member. But as a part of this group you can get a taste of the Taino wisdom and tradition which we enjoy in the CANEY CIRCLE.See More

My name is Erica. I am on a spiritual journey to work with my Taino ancestors. I never learned about my Taino ancestors becuase my grandmother died when my mother was very young. My mom have no knowledge about my ancestors in PR. On my spiritual journey, I met with a medium and discovered that my grandmother was a healer/shaman. She held "Mesa Blanca." During my journey, I learned that I too am a Shaman and was initated by Spirit. I want to learn more about working with my ancestors but I have no one to help or assist me. I am looking for a community that I can work with to learn more about my ancestors and to teach my children.
Greetings and welcome to our network, Erica. I noticed that you live in the eastern Pennsylvania area and are interested in traditional Taino spirituality. My name is Miguel Sague and I am a representative of the Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle . We have a presence in the municipality of Lancaster not far from Harrisburg at the Manicato Taino Cultural Center. The Caney Circle services a number of different Taino Resurgence Movement organizations around the country as well as serving independent individuals who don't happen to be associated with any specific communities. I would be very happy if you check out our spiritual community by visiting our website and reaching out to us with any questions that the information in our website may raise in your mind. Until then Seneko Kakona (Abundant Blessings)
