- " Takiji" to all my brothers and sisters. I am a descendant of the research I am doing. it traces my ancestors to the late 1400's and early 1500's Conquest and Intermingling of the Spaniards and natives in their take over of the Caribbean Islands. I come from a big family. my grandparent's on my mother's side had 23 children. I have a passion for the old ways of living, the morals and value systems. where are they now?I am hear because I have many questions to ask the elders across this technology. I have watched for to long the raping of our ways, and it's people. but not by a stranger this time, but from our own . our vulnerable and weak go unheard , as the word "WARRIOR" is just a memory of once true men and elders who protected our people. WHERE ARE OUR SENIORS AND THEIR KNOWLEDGE AGAINST THE YOUNG AND DESTRUCTIVE ? it was our elders we turned to for knowledge & wisdom on how everything was done to keep the peace among men & the balance in nature. WHERE ARE YOU BRAVE GRANDFATHER'S, GREAT WARRIOR'S, DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK ON US ANY LONGER. WE NEED YOU TO STAND UP AND TAKE YOUR PLACES AMONG MEN AND SET THE BALANCE OF THINGS TO COME. STAND UP!
