- About Me:
- Hiya! My name is Robin, my pronouns are she/they, and I'm a 21 year old living in East Tennessee. I will be forthcoming and admit that I'm as white as a cracker, but that I'm an invited participant to cemiism through a Boricua family member. I was thrown into this lovely culture back in August of 2023 thanks to a certain spirit, and I haven't been able to turn back since. :-)
When I'm not entrenching myself in study, you can find me drawing, writing fiction, or playing video games.
- Research Interests:
- My primary fields of study have been the history of pre-colonial Puerto Rico, Taíno life/culture, and the Cemís in general. I've gotten my hands on a bunch of the "important" books, but a very large part of my journey thus far has taken place through dreamwork with a select few Cemís that have chosen to yoink me here and there. Well, that and pestering my family with questions- I love them dearly, but I have a lot of questions and I don't want to burden them!
