NATIVE VISIONS...Una exposicion de Arte en la ciudad de Patterson, New Jersey...An Art exhibit in Patterson New Jersey
El Lunes 9 de Octubre de dirigi a la ciudad de Patterson, New Jersey para llevar alli dos pinturas originales mias destinadas a formar parte de la exposicion de arte Native Visions (Visiones Indigenas). La exposicion esta partocinada por la universidad PASSAIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE en Patterson y organizada por nuestro hermano boricua taino Jaimi Kaurix Rodriguez.
On Monday October 9 I drove out to the city of Patterson, New Jersey to deliver two of my paintings destined to form part of an art exhibit called Native Visions. The exhibit is sponsored by the PASSAIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE in Patterson, and is organized by our own Taino Boricua brother Jaimi Kaurix Rodriguez.

Alli esa noche de Octubre pude presenciar como Jaimi preparaba la exposicion
There on that October evening I was able to get a glimpse of how Jaimi prepared the exhibit.
la exposicion se inaguro con una noche de gala, 5 de Noviembre, a la cual asistieron muchos de los mas importantes personajes del movimiento de Resurgencia taina. Desgraciadamente yo no pude asistir.
The exhibit was inagurated with a gala evening, November 5, which was attended by some of the most important people in the Taino Resurgence Movement. Unfortunately I was not able to attend that day.
La exposicion continuara hasta el 10 de Diciembre e incluye piezas por muchos de los mas importantes artistas tainos del movimiento de resurgencia.
The exhibit will last til December 10 and includes pieces by some of the most important artsits of the Resurgence Movement.
Que honor para mi que mis pinturas se encuentren en compa~ia de tantas obras de arte que demuestran el poder de nuestro movimiento!
What an honor for me that my paintings are now accompanied by these works of art that demonstrate the power of our movement!
