El sabado 10 de Septiembre 2016 tuve el honor de participar en el vigesimo quinto aniversario del Yukayeke Maisiti con su jefe el kasike Roman Guaraguaorix.
On saturday September 10 2016 I had the honor of participating in the twenty fifth anniversary of the Yukayeke Maisiti with its chief Kasike Roman Guaraguaorix.
La reunion se celebro en una zona del norte del estado de New York y el fuego sagrado Guatu fue una bendicion para todos los que participamos.
The the gathering was celebrated in upstate New York and sacred Guatu fire blessed the participants during the day and evening of the event.
Los cuatro colores verde, negro,blanco y amarillo, del aro sagrado que forma parte de la tradicion de nuestro CIRCULO CANEY tomaron una posicion importante en los altares del evento.
The four colors gree, black, white and yellow, of the sacred hoop that is part of the CANEY CIRCLE tradition took a prominent place in the altars of the event.
Se llevaron a cabo ceremonias, discursos y otras actividades de gran importancia durante el dia.
Ceremonies, speeches and other important activities took place during the day.

In fact the CANEY CIRCLE behike-in-training, Heriberto Guaragua'Niki Martinez, as official representative of the UCTP, presented a congratulatory proclamation to Kasike Roman in behalf of the UNITED CONFEDERATION OF TAINO PEOPLE and its director Kasike Roberto Mukaro Agueybana Borrero.
