For over 30 yrs of my life I have been searching for information regarding our people, our songs, rituals, healings, and ceremony.I have been active in the Lakota/Dakota Wico'hoki'/Way of life since they brought me off the "black road" in 1984 and for that, I am grateful. Had it not been for the Lakota/Dakota people I would not have ever found the Red Road and my People. Many thanks, Bomotum to brother Roberto "Mucaro" Borrerro for assisting me connecting me with my People and Nacion....Han han katu! Tainoti...
Hi! Jaime...
in our community some of our people prepare for "All Souls Day" Nov.1st
Some households make a dinner and is shared with other people who drop by
to eat. A sp[rit plate is offered to your loved ones who passed on.
This was done in the passed and almost disappeared and came back again.
The family will prepare traditional dishes. Have you experienced this while your stay in Ontario ?
My mothers side is from Añasco and Mayaguez, PR I have family (Justiniano surname my mom and Byron, grandma)
My father's side of the family is not known to me as he left when I was 3. So my ROSARIO side of my family tree is a small "branch" with 2 or 3 leaves!!
On my mom's side I have a few branches, limbs and leaves...that's what I am trying to work on mostly
Good day, I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ronaldmorr001@gmail.com) for full details. Best regards,
Darla Day Clancey
