La coordinadora de la CONFEDERACION UNIDA DEL PUEBLO TAINO en el estado de Ohio, Bibi Rosa AnaO Quinones, en colaboracion con el CIRCULO ESPIRITUAL INDIGENA CANEY (del cual ella es una behike) organizo nuestra participacion en el festival Hispano y el desfile Puerto Rique~o de la ciudad de Cleveland, Ohio este a~o.
The liason person of the UNITED CONFEDERATION OF TAINO PEOPLE in the state of Ohio, Bibi Rosa AnaO Quinones, in collaboration with the CANEY INDIGENOUS SPIRITUAL CIRCLE (of which she is a behike) organized our participation in the Hispanic festival and Puerto Rican Day Parade of the city of Cleveland, Ohio this year.
El evento comenzo con el desfile, que incluyo bellas carrosas.
The event began with a parade that included beautiful floats.
Nosotros participamos en el desfile.
We participated in the parade.
Despues del desfile montamos una presentacion educacional en la zona del festival que incluyo descripciones de la cultura taina y del movimiento de resurgencia de nuestra nacion indigena, con explicacion de las actividades del C.U.P.T. y del Circulo Caney.
After the parade we set up an educational display at the festival area that included descriptions of Taino culture and the resurgnce movement of our Indigenous nation, with explanations of the activities of the U.C.T.P. and the Caney Circle.
